Michael Conway

Michael is a founding director of Renaissance Contingency Services since 1987 and Michael is Managing Director of Renaissance since the acquisition of Renaissance by Northamber PLC in July 2024. Michael is the founder of the Annual CyberExpoIreland and CyberConIreland events in Dublin. Michael heads up the Value-Added distribution business of Renaissance. Michael has managed the vendor relationships with over sixty leading Global data security vendors. Michael is heavily involved in evaluating and on boarding new cyber and compliance technologies for delivery into Ireland. Michael is a regular speaker on Cyber Security and Compliance subjects. Michael regularly contributes to debates on Cyber security and the need to embed Cyber Security into key organisations. Michael has been involved in the preparation and review of Continuity and Crisis Management Plans for many of the leading organisations in Ireland and the UK. Michael is a Fellow of the Emergency Planning Society and a Fellow of the Irish Computer Society. Michael is a founder member of the Emergency Management Institute Ireland and an Honorary Fellow of the EMII. Michael has a BComm and has been involved in the IT industry since 1979.
